Live recap of Miami Heat v Philadelphia 76ers on Thu, Apr 18.

The Heat traded Kyle Lowrie for Terry Rozier to improve their roster. Rozier won’t play in tonight’s play-in tournament game against Kyle Lowrie and the rest of the 76ers.

The Heat have done nothing but put up bricks so far. It’s not looking good.

Adebayo sits with 2 early fouls.

The 76ers look the better team so far, but the Heat are changing the narrative and have shown an ability to match the 76ers. They may overpower them soon. Jimmy Butler has come to play. Herro needs to play a little wiser.

The Heat are playing with a lot of energy. They’ve come to play. I think they may eventually overpower the 76ers. But the bench needs play wisely on offense.

Jimmy Butler picked up a cork to the leg. He looks stiff and has a limp. Hopefully it’s just a cork.

I haven’t seen Duncan Robinson at all. It doesn’t look like he’ll play.

The Heat have taken control of the game. Kevin Love filled in very well for Adebayo.

76ers won. Jimmy Butler still had a limp after the game.

That was a fun game to watch. The Heat play basketball like they don’t want to lose. I enjoy watching them play. Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro are 2 of my favorite players to watch because of the effort and energy they play with.

Jimmy Butler reportedly suffered an MCL injury and continued to play through it for another 3 quarters. That’s why we love Jimmy Buckets. The only thing that was going to stop him was an injury. It did. But he kept playing though. His status is prob out for the Heat’s next game.

Jimmy Butler deliberately plants verbal seeds to motivate himself to back up the things he says later. It seems like it would be fuel to the opposition, but it’s a reminder to the self to make sure he pulls through and backs up what he said. But unfortunately, he got injured and didn’t get the chance.
