Notes:

  • Bill Walton is one of the most famous centers in NBA history. Walton was a great college player who sunk 21 or 22 shots in the NCAA championship game that helped his UCLA Bruins win the title over Memphis State. He also won two championships in the NBA, one with the Portland Trailblazers and the other for the Celtics. He means a lot to Portland in particular, as they have not been as successful as the Celtics since.
  • Bill Walton usually wore Adidas basketball shoes. I have seen signed pairs of the Adidas Top Ten that he wore. He liked to wear the Adidas Top Ten the most. And he usually wore High Tops until the end of his career.
  • Both Bill Walton and Kevin Garnett wore number 5 while playing for the Boston Celtics.
