Haywood Highsmith, represented by Jerry Dianis and Mason Ashe, has signed a two-year $11 million contract with the Miami Heat.
Damian Lillard tried recruiting Highsmith to the Milwaukee Bucks before he signed with the Heat.
Highsmith sits fourth on the depth chart at power forward for the Heat. Highsmith averaged 20.7 minutes per game in 2023-24 for the Heat and could have a much larger role than the current depth chart assumes, especially if there are injuries. The current Heat roster has had trouble staying healthy throughout the regular season. Highsmith played valuable minutes in the 2023-24 playoffs for the Heat where he averaged 25 minutes over 5 games.
