The playoff bracket was: Bakersfield lost to Austin 2–0, Santa Cruz beat Austin 2–0 and Fort Wayne 2–1, while Rio Grande Valley swept Maine 2–0 and Tulsa 2–0 before sweeping Santa Cruz 2–0 in the Finals.

Maine finished ahead of Erie despite identical 26–24 records, because Maine won the season series 5–4.
