Terry Rozier is known for his scoring, athleticism, and tenacious defense. Nicknamed “Scary Terry,” he became a fan favorite in Boston, especially during the 2018 playoffs. Since joining the Charlotte Hornets, he has grown into a consistent scoring option and leader on the team.

Terry Rozier missed the playoffs in 2023-24 because of a neck injury. He likely sat out because it was a delicate area and he didn’t want to risk his long-term future in the league for a temporary playoff run. It was a very good trade that the Heat made for Rozier during the 2023-24 season even though it came back to hurt them in the playoffs for several reasons (they traded Kyle Lowrie and then had to play against him in the starting lineup of the 76ers, a series they eventually lost). Rozier needs a good season this year and to stay healthy or Pat Riley will do what he has to to keep the Heat a contender. 9/15/2024
