Here are the 1947–48 BAA (Basketball Association of America) Regular Season Standings. This was the second season of the BAA, which would merge with the NBL to form the NBA in 1949.

  • BAA Finals:

Historical Notes:

  • The Baltimore Bullets became the first and only mid-season expansion team (1947) to win a championship the following year.
  • The Providence Steamrollers’ 6–42 record (.125 win%) was, at the time, the worst in league history.
  • Several teams from the inaugural 1946–47 season had folded by this point (e.g., Toronto Huskies, Pittsburgh Ironmen).
