Darrell Armstrong was the point guard on the Orlando Magic team that featured Tracy McGrady before he left to head to the Houston Rockets. The Magic team that Armstrong played for in the 2003 playoffs took the Detroit Pistons to seven games, which was arguably the highlight of both he and Mcgrady’s careers. Some very good teams weren’t able to take the Pistons to seven games the way the 2003 Orlando Magic did. Though I’m familiar with Armstrong’s game, it’s not easy to compare him to other players because of his uniqueness.
Notes:
- Similar players to Darrell Armstrong include Bobby Jackson and Kenny Anderson.
