Bona played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins, earning multiple accolades, including Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2024. He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2024 NBA Draft and has been assigned to their G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, during his rookie season.
